We're building a scalable, crowd-powered network delivering real-time, verified insights for a more resilient and transparent global situational awareness system.
We are building a dynamic and scalable situational awareness network that leverages a trusted global crowd to provide the real-time, verified insights that other systems miss.
Our founders saw a critical flaw in traditional situational awareness systems: small teams can't keep up with the surge of global data, an issue only amplified by generative AI.
That insight led to Crowd Threat, the first scalable, crowd-powered platform built to close these blind spots.
Our crowd-sourced model allows us to create the first truly global situational awareness feed with consistent, real-time reporting.
We ensure you receive trusted, actionable threat data by rigorously verifying the raw feed of incidents submitted by our local contributors.
Our 'Local Eyes on Global Threats' approach provides the crucial on-the-ground context that Western-centric analyst teams miss.
A small, focused team building the infrastructure for the world's first crowd-powered global threat intelligence network.

We're hiring as we build out the platform. Both roles are full-time and based in our North East England office, with a minimum of 3 days/week on-site. To apply, send your CV and a cover letter to the address on each role, or email contact@crowdthreat.com for anything else.
Global Community Growth ManagerView Full Description
Crowd Threat is building the world's first crowdsourced global threat monitoring platform — local eyes on global threats. Our network of on-the-ground contributors reports on civil unrest, crime, and other physical security incidents in real time, giving clients a faster, more transparent read on risk than traditional institutional monitoring can offer. We're early-stage, growing fast, and looking for someone to help us build that network market by market.\n\nThis is a full-time role based in our North East England office, with an expectation of a minimum of 3 days per week on-site. Hours are generally 9–5, though we're happy to be flexible with an alternating 8–4 or 10–6 arrangement.
As Global Community Growth Manager, you'll own the growth of our contributor network in target locations around the world. You'll be given target markets and regions, and it's on you to research those areas, identify the relevant communities and groups worth engaging, and build a plan to reach them. This is part research, part marketing, part community management — you'll need to understand a place before you can recruit in it.
- Research target locations to identify relevant communities, networks, and groups to recruit contributors from
- Develop and execute market-specific outreach and recruitment plans to grow the contributor base in each region
- Create marketing materials that explain and promote the contributor opportunity, tailored to each market
- Advertise the opportunity to prospective contributors within target markets, across the right channels for that region
- Monitor and support Crowd Threat's community/contributor support channels, helping resolve questions and keep contributors engaged
- Track recruitment progress against location-based targets and report on what's working
- Experience in community management, growth marketing, or international recruitment — ideally with exposure to working across multiple countries or cultures
- Strong research instincts — comfortable digging into an unfamiliar market to find the right people and groups
- Confident creating marketing/outreach content (copy, social, simple creative assets)
- Excellent written communication, with sensitivity to cultural and regional nuance
- Self-directed and comfortable with ambiguity — this is a build-it role, not a maintain-it role
- Bonus: experience with OSINT, crowdsourcing platforms, gig-economy contributor networks, or civil unrest/security-adjacent fields
This is a startup, and that comes with a particular kind of opportunity. You'll get access to the entire business, not just your corner of it — it's genuinely all hands on deck, and you'll see how a company gets built from the ground up. You'll also get the opportunity to help guide our three tech products and our AI strategy. It's a great way to learn about business more broadly, in a role that's globally focused and genuinely exciting.
Apply NowThreat Intelligence and Verification AnalystView Full Description
Crowd Threat is building the world's first crowdsourced global threat monitoring platform. Our contributor network reports real-time, on-the-ground incidents — civil unrest, crime, and other physical security threats — from locations around the world. We verify and aggregate those reports into intelligence our clients rely on for situational awareness. We're looking for a Threat Intelligence and Verification Analyst to join us as we build that platform from the ground up.\n\nThis is a full-time role based in our North East England office, with an expectation of a minimum of 3 days per week on-site. Hours are generally 9–5, though we're happy to be flexible with an alternating 8–4 or 10–6 arrangement. This is an entry-level position — you don't need prior professional experience in threat intelligence, we'll give you full training. What matters is your analytical mindset, curiosity, and writing ability. It's also a genuine opportunity to grow your career with Crowd Threat as we scale — this is a foundational role on a small team, with room to develop into more senior analyst positions as the company grows.
This role sits at the center of our verification pipeline and our intelligence output. You'll work threat by threat, region by region, building a genuinely global view of what's happening on the ground — while also working directly with our contributor network to help maintain a high standard of accuracy in the data they submit. Beyond verification, you'll analyze the incoming data and produce your own written analysis — building a portfolio of work based on the real-time, granular threat data our platform picks up as one of the first of its kind.
- Review and verify incoming contributor reports for accuracy, credibility, and completeness
- Work directly with contributors to guide and improve the quality and accuracy of their reporting
- Monitor and understand threat activity across categories (civil unrest, crime, social & political events, etc.) and across global regions
- Analyze verified threat data to identify patterns, trends, and emerging risks
- Produce written analysis and reporting — briefings, write-ups, or threat summaries — building a body of work over time
- Contribute to the ongoing development of verification standards and processes as the platform scales
- No prior professional experience required — full training provided
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, with an eye for verifying credibility and sourcing
- Excellent written communication — comfortable turning raw data into clear, well-argued analysis
- Genuine interest in global affairs, civil unrest, and physical security/geopolitical risk
- A relevant degree or self-directed background (e.g. politics, international relations, journalism, security studies) is a plus but not essential
- Willingness to learn and grow into more senior analyst roles as Crowd Threat scales
